Daniel Krauthammer is an independent writer and consultant based in Washington DC. His professional focus is in economic and geopolitical research and analysis. He has worked in government, NGOs and political campaigns, as well as in the technology sector, where he continues to work as an adviser and investor in start-up ventures.

​He received his MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and he holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Harvard University and a Master of Science Degree in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford.

Daniel’s writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Dispatch, Fox News, National Review and The New Republic, where his commentary has spanned topics on politics, foreign policy, economics, technology and film.

Daniel was also the editor of The Point of It All: A Lifetime of Great Loves and Endeavors (Crown Forum).  He spent the last year of his father’s life (Charles Krauthammer, 1950–2018)  close by his father’s side in the hospital, where together they worked toward the completion of that book.
