Bret Stephens is the Wall Street Journal's deputy editorial-page editor and writes the "Global View" column, for which he won a Pulitzer Prize in 2013. Previously he was editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem Post. He was raised in Mexico City and has reported stories from around the world. His book, "America in Retreat: The New Isolationism and the Coming Global Disorder," was published to wide acclaim in 2014.
He lives in New York with his wife and three children.
